What Database does the Orion POS Use for the POS Data?

The Orion Point of Sale System uses the Microsoft MS-SQL or MS-SQL Express database to store the POS data. The Orion POS software can reference Inventory and Accounting Data directly in the Accounting System you are connected to. The Accounting Systems Data is stored separately. The Orion Point of Sale System links to accounting data in the Pervasive SQL, Microsoft SQL Databases and in the case of Sage Simply Accounting, MY-SQL.
